About Cord
At Cord, we’re on a mission to make the tools people work in every day truly collaborative. The technology we’ve built allows any other SaaS tool to implement commenting, annotation and other communication features within their app.
We’re growing fast - our software is already being used by companies like Typeform, monday.com and Attest - and we’re looking for a stellar marketeer who’ll supercharge this growth.
Founded in 2020 by ex-Facebook early employees Nimrod and Jackson, we most recently raised a £15m Series A round and are backed by the likes of Index Ventures. We’re proud of our tight-knit, experienced, team, who’ve come from the likes of Google, Facebook, GoCardless and The Guardian.
What you’ll do
You’ll be driving the growth marketing engine at Cord, driving customer awareness and acquisition. Specifically, you’ll:
Identify, test and execute new marketing channels, paid and organic; collaborate with designers and writers to create campaigns that drive awareness and reach
Design and implement a compelling, scalable content plan that gets Cord known as the experts in collaboration and builds out our SEO presence
Own the website conversion experience, building out impactful content to convert traffic into leads
Identify & map our target customers and customer journey to inform marketing strategies
Work collaboratively with our Head of Sales to build impactful sales material
Identify and engage with relevant online and offline communities of potential Cord buyers
Own metrics and reporting; carry out recurring and ad hoc pieces of analysis; report back to the company on marketing activations
About You
You’re a generalist growth marketeer, with an analytical mind and an experimentation mindset.
You love the scrappiness of an early stage start up; you’re comfortable rolling up your sleeves and getting things done.
Ideally, you’ll have 4+ years of experience in growth marketing roles and have experience working in a fast-growing startup
Bonus points if you worked on a SaaS or technical product.

We have a plant-filled office in Shoreditch, where we come into work Tuesday - Thursday and work from home Mondays and Fridays.
We don’t judge people by number of years of experience. For us, it’s not about on-paper credentials. We’re looking for someone who is eager to learn and excited to deliver a new product to the world. We’re much more concerned with your curiosity and proven capability to learn and execute than how long you’ve been doing the job.
