Tim Threshie is the Principle Talent Partner at Amido (via Talentful). He is hiring across all Engineering positions at Amido, including .Net, Java, DevOps, Front-End, Data Engineering and QA Consultants in their London office on cord..
Our Goal
Amido are growing their tech team at scale and we needed to find a way of sourcing Engineers that could support our ambitious growth plans.
Our Situation
Looking to scale
I was brought into Amido to help scale their technology team. We needed to hire across all areas of the business, but chiefly into our Engineering and Technology teams. This included Java & .Net Engineers, Data Engineers, DevOps Engineers and Front End Engineers.
The challenge of finding great Engineers
Finding talented Engineers who are looking for permanent work in London is hard and we were keen to look at products that would help us increase our access to great people.
Using cord
Starting using cord
We decided to try cord for three months. The process of getting set up on cord was really simple. Within weeks we had multiple interviews set up and within the first month we made our first hire.
Making continuous hires
Following our first hire we continued to make hires through cord. I'm yet to go a week where I haven't engaged with a relevant candidate. We filled one of our most challenging roles, a Senior Data Engineer (which we'd been looking for for 18 months!). In total we made six technical hires in six months.
