In 2018 we secured £1m in pre-seed funding, and wanted to scale our team.
We tried other solutions
We had looked at different places to find candidates. We had tried some of the job boards and LinkedIn, but they weren't providing any consistent quality of technical candidates. They weren't cost effective either.
We also wanted to avoid using any service that involved percentage fees, so we could afford to pay people we hired the salaries we wanted to.
Using cord
Starting to speak to candidates
We decided to try cord and started to speak to candidates. The user interface is really simple and intuitive to use. We had interviews set up with quality candidates within a matter of days.
Hiring our Development Team
Within a month, we had hired our first two Developers through cord and they were both superb candidates.
It cemented to us that cord is a cost effective way to hire technical talent, and has a great selection of candidates working with the JavaScript stack we are using. Soon after hiring our first two Developers, we were able to hire three more. We've now hired five Developers through cord.
