We are an early stage start-up and we wanted to make some key early hires. It was important for us to find a volume of candidates, without compromising on quality.
Our Situation
We tried using other platforms and posting job ads - but it was hard to get immediate feedback from people, it was very laborious. Even the process of sifting through people was very unappealing.
On cord it couldn't have been easier, we could browse to our heart's content, and once we'd found candidates we liked, it was very useful to be able to DM them. It's very humanising.

The speed of hiring was unbelievable. Day one was reviewing candidates. Day two was a lot of introductory messaging. On day three we ran interviews and hired.
There wasn't anything slowing us down
Because all the candidates on cord were actively looking for work there was nothing to slow down how fast we were looking to hire someone. There were so many candidates on cord, I don't think we even reached the bottom of the list.
I don't want to make unrealistic expectations for anyone, you can take longer than 3 day if you want, but we found there wasn't anything stopping us from being fast.
