"If you don't have an enormous network of technical people and you're not necessarily a technical founder yourself, there's really nowhere else to go to hire your first technical people."

About Béa Fertility
We're on a mission to democratise access to fertility care, and we’re looking for our first technical hire; someone to define and lead our digital strategy; someone as obsessed with our mission as we are.
Our Goal
We joined cord after a recent funding round aiming to make our first technical hires - we were looking to grow our Engineering department from 0 to 3 people in 6 weeks.
Our first hire
Before we started using cord we closed our first funding round, and we also won an innovation grant from the government which included a budget to hire a technical team, so very quickly I needed to go from no technical team to a technical team of three people in a six week period.
Active, highly relevant Engineers
I could not be more pleased with how everything went with cord. The principal benefit for me was needed to find someone very quickly, so having access to a pool of highly relevant candidates who were actually looking for work and actively looking to transition into a new role was really helpful.
Not technical, not a problem
I'm a non-technical founder and hiring technical people can sometimes be a little tricky. The team at cord helped me craft than outreach message that was infinitely better than the one I started with and really started getting a lot of responses. After that, I had a really high response rate.
Making the right hire
The onboarding process was so easy and so seamless, it really set us up to make the right hire. The features, the messaging, the instantaneous nature of communication with people, it really was a great hiring experience - being able to reach out to people directly makes recruitment just a lot more human.
