Our Goal
We wanted to increase the number of quality Engineers entering our recruitment process whilst trying to grow our company by 400% in 2021.
Our Situation
A tool for growth
2020 was probably Solidatus' fastest-growing year and 2021 is set to be the same. We're 40 people at the minute, and we want to be 150 people by the end of this year.
Previously, Solidatus were doing all of their recruitment by referral and Linkedin, which had kind of worked, but it was a bit slow and given the numbers that we needed to hire, I thought I'd give cord a go.
If you're a start-up and you need to grow quickly, you need enough candidates entering your recruitment process to facilitate that growth - ideally without compromising on quality. We joined cord with the aim of getting more quality candidates into our pipeline.
Using cord
Quality, responsive Engineers
There's really great qualified candidates who are interested, and really all that's left to do is to find the ones that best fit your business. I don't think I've had anyone not come back to me. I think even if the Engineers have not been interested they've said, quite politely, they're not interested, and stated why.
Like having your own personal headhunter
I get emails notifying me of new candidates entering my stream as they join cord, from there I can check out their profile and send them a message - it feels like cord is working in the background for me.
I'm recruiting for an in-house technical recruiter at the minute, and I always feel like I've sort of half had one in cord. It's like having a headhunter on the side, like a nameless headhunter working for you on the side is how it feels.
