If I turn down a job, will the company hold a grudge?

I was interviewing at Accessa and Dot White, and Accessa offered me a job and Dot White the same job. Accessa was offering a higher salary, but I refused because Accessa was like 500 to 600 employees right back then, and I was really scared about big companies. I don't know why. It wasn't an irrational fear. And then I came back to Accessa, but because they knew me and I interviewed them and they took a liking to me, I didn't have to interview again. And they were like, "Okay, we have this project. Do you like it? Okay, come".
