The Enterprise Effectiveness and Efficiency department is a brand-new team for Bally’s and you will join at a critical time as the team starts to shape it’s foundation and kick off on new and major projects.
The Organizational Effectiveness Manager at Bally's Corporation plays a crucial role in driving the company's success by supporting initiatives that focus on the optimization and transformation of organizational structures, processes, and systems. This role enables the business to operate efficiently and effectively, enabling the achievement of strategic objectives and fostering a high-performance culture.
So, what will you be doing?
  • Conducting organisational assessments to identify areas for improvement and develop recommendations for organizational design and effectiveness initiatives.
  • Collaborating with key stakeholders to develop and implement organisational design strategies that align with business goals and objectives.
  • Helping to facilitate organisational change initiatives, including restructuring, process improvement, and workforce planning.
  • Supporting stakeholders in the creation of the artefacts and documentation needed to deliver a successful outcome such as Process Maps, Org Scenario Plans, Job Descriptions, Change Plans.
  • Conducting business process mapping and analysis to identify opportunities for streamlining and enhancing efficiency.
  • Providing guidance and support to leaders and managers on organizational design and effectiveness best practices.
  • Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of organisational design initiatives and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Helping to shape the approach for Enterprise Effectiveness and Efficiency
And what are we looking for?
  • Possess previous experience in similar role or demonstrable experience supporting transformations in a global, cross functional or complex setting.
  • Possess previous experience managing org change/design projects that include process or systems changes.
  • Possess previous experience in org design, talent management, workforce planning or other people processes.
  • Able to demonstrate prior experience of working with and influencing senior stakeholders up to board level.
  • Possess strong skills in documentation and artefact creation related to Org Design/Effectiveness.
  • Able to build strong relationships at all levels built on trust and respect
  • Possess excellent understanding of the inner workings of businesses including, tech, marketing, operations, finance, legal, HR etc.

Requirements

We have built our entire banking platform in house and mostly in Java. We are looking for people who want to work on building the tooling that is used by our engineers on a daily basis.

We are looking for people who are truly full stack, and are as comfortable polishing their javascript front end as they are debugging the innards of their java applications database interactions, or standing up infrastructure with terraform. We are looking for people who can:

  • Design REST apis.
  • Code backend services, ideally using Java, or another other server side compiled language.
  • Develop modern front ends, ideally using React and Redux.
  • Get their code into the cloud and support it there, ideally on AWS.
  • Believe in clean coding, simple solutions, automated testing and continuous deployment.
  • Like to take ownership of a feature from the original idea through to live.
  • Think (like us) that a small number of empowered developers is the right way to deliver software.
