Which traits will help me become a manager?

The reason that I was able to progress to engineering manager at my company relatively quickly, I guess, is because I had this passionate interest in developing and growing with other people, and that's something that I've always had in any job that I've always tried to bring to any role I've had, regardless of what sector I've been in.
