Should I compare my work to others’?

I can definitely see why some people would be jealous of what I have with the courses and the Gumroad. I mean, I guess it's like the grass is always greener, right? If I hadn't done the course or the Gumroad, I might be in a position where I would be saying, "Hey, maybe my life would be a lot easier if I was one of these people who could teach," but now that I have done it, I'm realising that I want to be on the other side. I want to be a full-time engineer. I want to be improving my portfolio on this side, doing things that make an impact that way.
