Do I have to love the industry to do my best work?

I would say it's a little bit like in ecosystems where we have those different dependencies between different animals and plants. Picking an industry is pretty much picking which cycle of ecosystem we are in. But, in the end, if this job exists and it is efficient, then it benefits somebody in the end. Somebody does buys life insurance. Maybe somebody's mental health is improved because of it, because they would have more peace of mind. And then, what's the difference if I'm working on robotics less efficiently, or would it be better if I would work on life insurance, which is efficient in this case, and more people benefit from it?
