What if work isn't my biggest motivator?

I think it's really interesting and I think it does come down to what's important to you. I think particularly when you get to my age, lots of people have a bit of a realisation where they acknowledge that actually work has a different meaning to them than they thought it did. I think at that point it becomes a job and they're more on the career path than the passion path and that's okay too.

I think for me, that was never the path that would've worked for me because what's important to me is always feeling really fulfilled by the day to day, always feeling like I'm learning and always feeling like I'm solving problems. But for some people, they just want a viable path that will give them as much time and resources to enjoy the stuff outside of work and that's really, really viable as well. I think it's a bit of self-reflection around what's actually important to you at the very core. Sometimes it just takes people a little bit of time to really work that out I think.
