Does my CV define my ability?

That's one that I talked about. Looking at a LinkedIn profile, and thinking that people are smart. You don't really know before talking to them, whether they have the energy or they have the ambition to do that. I would go and find a person and say like, oh, this looks great.

The companies that they've worked at, I've removed that bias fully. For me working at Google is good, but it doesn't signal to me that you're going to be a great entrepreneur or you're going to be a person that I really want to work with. Same as university: I've seen people that are super, super amazing and they don't come from that 1%, but they are still hustling and trying to do those things. I bet on those people rather than bet on the people that come from top 1% and have been given the opportunities that they can come there. And that's why I think it's bias, because people tend to come from a really good background, go to a really good school. And mostly they haven't hustled their way, but mainly could have been that they've had the opportunities given to them in a way. And I would bet on the people that are not from that background.
