Should I join a consultancy?

AND Digital is a consultancy, so you would work on different projects. And I think as a fresh grad, that was a great experience for me because I was able to test-drive a whole bunch of different companies and industries while still having the comfort of being employed by the parent company. While I was there, I was deployed onto different projects, such as British Airways, Whitbread who run Premier Inn, there's an academic publishers. It was kind of a mixed bag, and I was there for close to three and a half years. And at that point I felt like I wanted to try working in-house. And as much as it is interesting moving from project to project, it can also be unpredictable. So you might get a call on a Friday that the hours that your client has been built or have now run out and you're onto a different client on Monday.
