Just making sure you're always putting the business first and you're always trying to solve the problems the business needs you to solve. I think in a startup, all of the stuff that people care about in the normal career world just do not apply. If you start worrying about job titles or you start worrying about progressing versus somebody else in the business, or being in a meeting that other people are in that you feel like you should be in and getting caught up in all of that stuff, you are focusing on the wrong things.
I think if you've got the right attitude - being in an early stage business, obviously the business needs to have a product that's viable and those kinds of things - but if you become a part of trying to solve those problems, you will progress. The opportunities will be there for you to progress
