Is my work more valuable in a start-up?

In an early state start-up I think this applies, especially to myself and Satchel and Jacob, but also potentially for even more junior employees, you really need to think about every minute that you spend working in the company, how is it benefiting the end goal and the vision. And that changes over time. But I think that's really interesting, and it's very different from a sort of corporate environment, or even a large scale start-up where your contribution is part of a bigger puzzle. Here it's your contribution is a fraction of 20% of the puzzle that is the company's growth. And so that's really interesting to think about priorities and where you want to put in the work. If you view it very materialistically that your work is a resource, just like anything else, your time is that. And so you want to think about how am I going to allocate that to benefit the company the most and for it to be somewhat aligned also with my personal goals.
