Will a trusting relationship with my investors help?

We felt like it was time to make that pivot. And we had great early investors who we were able to be very honest with and very transparent with very early on. First Minute Capital led our pre-seed, that was the very first round we raised. And it was a small amount of cash, but it was really what got us going. So we went back to the drawing board, we sat them down and we said, "We think this is probably, not the best path for us, for this team." And I still remember, they told us, "Well, we've backed you as a team, mainly," because it was a very early stage deal. "We've backed you as a team. We love how you do things and your energy. And we'll back you in this new thing. But let us know how it pans out. Let's see what you want to do." So we went back to the drawing board and then Compose was born and they were extremely supportive.
